Disney announced at D23 that Monstropolis, a new Monsters, Inc.-themed land at Disney's Hollywood Studios, will open in phases beginning in 2027. The land will feature two attractions and multiple dining venues, including a quick-service restaurant and Monsters, Inc. Harryhousen's Restaurant, which will showcase an impressive audio-animatronic figure. A Monsters, Inc. door coaster is in development but will not open with the initial phase. The expansion will also include entertainment experiences and a Randy Newman theme song.
