A Disney producer confirmed October 22 that the studio has not initiated discussions regarding an "Encanto" sequel. The statement directly addresses fan speculation about a follow-up to the 2021 animated film, indicating no greenlight has been approved for development. While the producer's comments do not entirely rule out a future sequel, they clarify that "Encanto 2" is not currently in active production or planning stages at the Walt Disney Animation Studios.
