Disney’s Hollywood Studios got an infusion of new magic earlier this year when Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets officially opened on Sunset Boulevard.

The new iteration of the beloved Disney attraction sends guests on a high-speed journey across Hollywood as they help Scooter get The Electric Mayhem to their concert on time.

Since opening, the new version of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster has been lauded for its theming, animatronics, and soundtrack.

Now, we have even more Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster news to share!

Disney Files New Permit

Walt Disney World has filed a new Notice of Commencement permit to “Provide labor, material and/or electrical for construction.”

The permit assigns the work to Disney’s in-house Buena Vista Construction Company, which may indicate that the construction will not be related to the attraction itself.

Between the newly filed permit and the upcoming holiday overlay, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster has been a hub of activity lately.

Hopefully, we will learn more about Disney’s plans for the attraction soon.
